CampusView is a Denver, CO Limited Liability Company founded in 1999. The
gap between viewbooks and web sites was recognized while one of the founders was
applying to graduate school. Due to image compression limitations, our initial
efforts involved compiling viewbooks on CD-ROM. CampusView.com was born with the
release of the amazing DjVu
image format and our partnership with LizardTech,
Inc.
Viewbooks contain irreplaceable photography, but most bulk mail goes
straight to the trash without even being opened. Though CampusView is for-profit,
we find this offensive and unnecessary. CampusView's Online Library allows prospective
students to efficiently view a wide range of institutions through their official
materials. As the library grows, we will actively assist both parties in finding
ideal matches.
We strongly encourage the comments of both students and institutions to improve
the Library.
